Built in 1869 and one of just 55 remaining in U.K......

Vote out the prat*'s on the council that don't support the pier.........

It has been declared 'most at risk' out of all the piers....

but my main supports are all in good condition and repairable by a simple old- fashioned technology...

Council engineers said the pier would'nt survive the winter of 2006. As you can see its still with us...

The ONLY RISK to the pier is the further dithering in solving the ownership problem........ The C.P.O. and repair will not cost the council anything...

A failed pier will be a burden on your Council Tax.....

Demolition of Ł4 MILLION for which there is no funding.

Around two thousand supporters for Hastings Pier made their way to the Town Hall to show their support that the pier should be saved from falling into the sea......... and that a compulsory purchase order should be made by the local council.

However the top councillors were not at home.....

Hastings Borough Council Officers dither about the fate of the pier and are using scare mongering tatics to delay the C.P.O.......Shame on you........

It will cost Ł4million to start the process to Save Me... the same cost it would be to have me demolished.....................

The Apron section would be repaired & re-opened first to generate income to allow further repairs to the remaining sections over a longer timeframe...........

This will create local jobs, training and apprenticeships which are badly needed in the town........

Elections are coming up, so remember you comfortable FAT CATS........You are there to serve the people and if you don't your HISTORY.........
